1870 Petersburg VA Letter about Brothers Being Arrested
An 1870 Petersburg, VA 3 page letter about 2 brothers being arrested for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our antique paper is a lengthy letter I believe from a lawyer to two brothers who have gotten into trouble with the law. They have property which they bought under false names, the lawyer tells them if they can 10% of the value of the land they had better sell it, because he doesn't know if the deed will be any good or not.
