2003 Virginia License Plate DMV 5TH
A 2003 Virginia license plate with the DMV # 5TH which most likely stands for the 5th Virginia Infantry which fought during the Civil War, the condition is very good plus. The 5th was raised in Virginia for service in the Confederate States of America during the Civil War. The soldiers in this unit were mainly from Augusta and Frederick counties. The unit became part of the Stonewall Brigade serving under General Stonewall Jackson. Later the 5th Virginia Infantry served with the Army of Northern Virginia and also with Jubal Early in his Shenandoah Valley operations. This is a great souvenir or memento for a descendant of one of the soldiers from the VA 5th or any Civil War history buff.
