Charleston SC five cents obsolete civil war scrip 1862
An obsolete five cent note issued by the city of Charleston, South Carolina during the Civil War in March 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The small size obsolete currency features a cornucopia in the center and a large red FIVE on the reverse. In the SC obsolete money reference book they estimated between 26 to 50 of these change notes still exist. Our estimation of grade to be used as a reference only is good. The pictures show the front and back of the actual South Carolina obsolete currency that is for sale to help you decide the condition before purchasing.
