An obsolete five dollar rare banknote from the Bank of Columbia in Kentucky issued July 28,, 1818 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This KY wildcat bank was chartered in 1818 and failed shortly thereafter, a great collectible from early Kentucky. Our estimate of condition is very good with rough edges. In the Kentucky obsolete reference book this note is rated R-7 on the rarity scale meaning that only 1 to 5 are thought to still exist.
