Our archival civil war artwork features the red Cordori Barn which was prominent during the Battle of Gettysburg. Nicholas Cordori was a French Immigrant who was a butcher by trade. His farm was at the center of Pickett's charge as Pickett ran the operations from here. Cordori was distrustful of banks and put his money into land. He and his family saw early the historical significance of their land holdings and began selling the farm to the park service and various veterans groups and etc. Over 500 confederate soldiers were buried on this farm.
