Dead Fraser Fir Trees on Clingmans Dome Art Print
An archival premium Quality art Print of Dead Fraser Fir Trees on Clingmans Dome for sale by Brandywine General Store, a scenic landscape showing a common sight in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The Fraser Fir used to be the most common evergreen in the higher elevations of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, but it is now being killled off by the Balsam Woolly Adelgid, whose cousin is now killing all the hemlock trees in the eastern forests. I am assuming these dead trees are the fir. A photographic composition shot from the observation tower on Clingmans Dome in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park in Tennessee. Picture #549 an original Tennessee landscape art print made from a photograph in the Brandywine collection.
