Our historic civil war artwork features the supposed exact spot of the infamous speech given by Lincoln to rally the country into finishing the Civil War. For many years it was thought his podium was where the Soldier's Memorial is located, but later due to probably finding pictures or something, it was found out that the actual spot was in Evergreen cemetery supposedly where the old tombstone is now located. Mr and Mrs. Yount didn't die until 30 and 40 years later so of course this tombstone was not there when Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address.
