Fife and Drum Player at Harper's Ferry Art Print
An archival premium Quality Art Print of a Fife and Drum Player at Harper's Ferry for sale by Brandywine General Store. This composition shows a young fife and drum player of the Civil War era who is reenacting at Harper's Ferry West Virginia. Laying on the ground in front of him are his music sheets, a canteen, various wooden hand tools and the drum that he carries to battle. There is also a wooden box in which he most likely would have kept all these things in the actual time of the Civil War, so he could grab everything in a hurry as they marched out to battle. Behind him is his tent and homemade quilts which he would have used to keep warm in the cold winters of West Virginia and northern and eastern Virginia. We have given this print an antique Civil War daguerreotype look with hand tinted touches. Picture #232 an original civil war art print made from a photograph in the Brandywine Collection.
