A Museum Quality Reproduction print from the Fire Extinguisher Manufacturing Company makers of Babcock and Champion and Chemical Engines for sale by Brandywine General Store. The office and factory were located at 315 to 323 South Desplaines Street, Chicago Illinois. Their card reads Hand Fire Extinguishers City and Village Hook and Ladder Trucks, Hand and Horse Hose Carriages and Hose Carts and Fire Department Supplies Generally. An excellent print or gift idea for fire fighters everywhere showing how fighting fires used to be done about 125 years ago with horses. This antique poster shows a horse drawn ladder and hose truck with 4 firemen on it going to a fire, then there is also a horse drawn team pulling the fire extinguishers, also with 4 firefighters. Around the sides are lanterns and lights for the buggies, hand fire extinguishers, wagons with hoses and other fire fighting equipment. This will look great in a firehouse or home, with the vivid red colors and horse drawn equipment, this makes a beautiful print. Picture #15 a premium archival advertising print by Brandywine General Store.
