CR #04 Georgia Obsolete ten dollar Civil War Treasury Note 1862
An obsolete Georgia ten dollar note issued during the Civil War from Milledgeville GA on January 15, 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The obsolete currency has Ceres in the center vignette standing by farm produce, at the bottom center is a smaller vignette of the Georgia coat of arms. Criswell designated this bill as GA #04, the red protector is much lower than on the regular issue but probably not quite enough to qualify for the much rarer Cr #4b. Our estimation of grade to be used as a reference only choice almost uncirculated with hinge remnants on the reverse. The pictures show the front and back of the actual Georgia obsolete currency that is for sale to help you decide on the condition yourself before purchasing.
