CR #133 North Carolina One Dollar Obsolete State Treasury Note 1863
An Obsolete North Carolina Civil War one dollar Treasury Note issued in 1863 during the Civil War for sale by Brandywine General Store. Criswell designated this treasury bill as #133 meaning this type has the double plate letters which are a bit scarcer than the regular issue with just one plate letter. The vignette features Commerce and Prosperity each holding onto a large figure 1 and are surrounded by goods and produce with factories. Ships are in the background. We have more than one North Carolina one dollar obsolete treasury note but we have included a picture of each one currently in our inventory and a back of just one of the notes.
