Quince Flowering Red Blooms Against Light Blue Sky Art Print
A Museum Quality Botanical Art Print of Red Flowering Quince Against Light Blue Sky for sale by Brandywine General Store. Most of the old homes in the country had at least one bush of these red flowering quince. They were very hardy and can be seen yet today in old homesteads that have been abandoned for a hundred years or more. They have thorns but look nice when in full bloom in the spring. A lot of times the old people planted these along with forsythia bushes, both bloom at the same time, so then they had yellow blooms mixed in throughout these red blooms. This print shows a solitary red quince branch that is loaded with blooms, has a few green leaves and one thorn is visible at the bottom of the frame. The sun is hitting these so that a couple of the blooms and leaves almost look translucent. The light blue sky in the background makes this appear somewhat as a vintage print. Picture #103 an original archival photographic print by Brandywine General Store.
