Sophora, Winged Podded - Botanical Print
An archival premium Quality Botanical art Print of the Wing Podded Sophora, originally published in The Botanical Magazine on April 28, 1791 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This antique looking print shows a tree branch with yellow seed pods or fruits. The Wing Podded Sophoroa was described thus "A finer sight can scarcely be imagined than a tree of this sort, extending to a great breadth and covered with large pendulous branches of yellow flowers. The tree produces a few seed vessels with uncommon form having 4 wings, hence the name Tetraptera." Botanical art print #11
