T-72 Fifty cents Civil War Issue 1864 PF-01 Extra Fine
A fifty cents Jefferson Davis bust obsolete bill issued by the Central Government during the Civil War in 1864 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This note is designated PF-1 which means it is from the 1st series. The serial number is 29,727 with B plate letter. Our estimation of condition to be used as a reference only is extra fine with a choice appearance with nice color and beautiful dark printing, however it does have a small round hole on the right side and a center fold. Type 72 was the last note issued by the central government of the Southern States and features a bust of Jefferson Davis, the President of the Confederacy during the Civil War.
