Wouwerman, Philips - Peasants in the Field A Hay Harvest Art Print
An archival premium Quality Art Print of Peasants in the Field A Hay Harvest painted by Philips Wouwerman between 1655 to 1660 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The original size of this oil on panel was 16 1/4 by 14 inches and currently resides at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in London England. The scene shows the peasants unloading a wagon load of loose hay on top of the stack, while another small wagon is at the bottom of the stack and boys are fishing in the creek that runs by the haystack. Please keep in mind that even though we try to get prints looking good as possible, this one is almost 350 years old and shows wear and cracks in the paint that can not be taken out without ruining the vision of the original artist.
